Shepparton Railway Precinct Masterplan

The Shepparton Railway Precinct Master Plan (Master Plan) has been prepared to assess the current role and function of the Shepparton Railway Station and provides recommendations for its future development.

The Master Plan was jointly funded by Council, the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, V/Line and VicTrack.

The Master Plan assesses the current role and function of the Shepparton Railway Station, including the existing land uses and planning controls that apply to the land, access arrangements for pedestrians, cyclists, and other users, and connections to the CBD. The Master Plan also evaluates the future role and function of the Shepparton Railway Station and provides recommendations for its future development in the short, medium and long term.

The Master Plan has been informed by an extensive consultation program with the public and a variety of key stakeholders, including community groups, transport action groups, tourism bodies, and local and state government bodies.

The Master Plan was adopted by Council at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 20 June 2017.
