The Council's Economic Development Department is always looking for new opportunities to assist business through training and advice.
The Business Centre regularly hosts training and networking events, while the Council is also able to provide information on grants and funding available through State and Federal Government, as well as other information that might assist you if you are considering starting or expanding your business.

Changes to legislation now recognise that small businesses in rural communities with a population fewer than 10,000 people, have been affected by drought. These businesses are now eligible to apply for financial assistance.
