The aim of the Greater Shepparton, Greater Health Project grant is to encourage local community, sporting and non-profit organisations to explore different approaches and initiatives that may improve community health and wellbeing through health promotion or prevention models to maximise local health outcomes.
Applicants will benefit from being familiar with health and wellbeing targets and expectations in the current Council Plan and Greater Shepparton Health and Wellbeing Plan.

Council staff are available to discuss your project ideas any time of year. It is important to start your project planning early. Grant Information sessions are conducted throughout the year.

Acquitting is a mandatory part of the Greater Health Grant process. The Acquittal Form provides details to Council about how the grant money was spent and captures the outcomes and observations of the project.
Acquittal forms must be returned to Council within 30 days of the completion of the project or the date specified on your funding agreement, whichever is earlier.
