Overview of Service

Street Rider is unique as a security guard is present on the bus and passengers are only asked to contribute a gold coin donation when using the service.

The Bus collects from the following predetermined bus stops:

  • Harris Scarfe, Wyndham Street
  • Yahoo Bar, High Street
  • GV Hotel, Gaming Room Entrance, North Street
  • The Aussie Hotel, Maude Street

Annually the Street Rider Night Bus takes approximately 1700 people out of the Shepparton CBD and delivers them safely to their homes. Passenger numbers do vary from weekend to weekend depending on the time of year and what events are occurring in the region at the time.
