The Greater Shepparton Regional Sports Precinct redevelopment is a $21 million project: $7.19 from the Australian Federal Government, $750,000 from the Victorian State Government, $200,000 from sporting clubs contributions, and the Greater Shepparton City Council contributing the remaining amount.

The Regional Sports Precinct project will see works over a couple of years, with the facility to be complete by June 2017. The works will include improvements to:

  • Goulburn Valley Highway frontage & main entry
  • Athletics area
  • Netball
  • Hockey
  • Southern multi-use field
  • Retention, irrigation storage and waste water treatment zone
  • Multi-use fields 
  • Football main field (Soccer)
  • Precinct Boulevard link
  • Brauman Street roundabout

Shepparton Sports Precinct (also known as John McEwen Reserve) is located on the corner of Brauman Street and Wyndham Street, Shepparton.
