Traffic Management

Verney Road from Balaclava Road to Graham Street will be closed to south bound traffic as the pavement works commence from Tuesday 14 March 2017. The proposed detour for smaller vehicles will be through Bourchier Street while large vehicles will flow via Goulburn Valley Highway.

All streets exiting on Verney Road from eastside will be closed and diverted to the Birch Street exit. The only exceptions will be Clarke Court, Crestwood Grove and Ivanhoe Court, which will be allowed in and out access.

The works will cause a temporary inconvenience in the area and we ask for the community’s compliance with all traffic management signage.

The reconstruction works are programmed to be completed during August 2017.

See the below traffic map to assist you in navigating your way around the works.
