The asset maintenance team is responsible for a number of tasks, including:
- pavement repairs on sealed roads
- grading and resurfacing of gravel roads
- concrete kerb and channel and footpaths
- linemarking of sealed surfaces
- traffic sign and other road furniture maintenance
- urban and rural drainage maintenance
- street cleaning
- emergency response
- bridge maintenance
- penstocks and retardation basins
