Kerbside recycling is provided across the municipality on the same day as the domestic garbage collection, however garbage is collected weekly and recycling is collected fortnightly.

Waste and recycling services are available to residential and commercial properties in urban areas within the City of Greater Shepparton. The service is also available to rural properties abutting the sealed road network. The cost of the service is not part of the general rate, but is a separate charge to the property.
Your kerbside waste service now comprises three options.
Domestic garbage collection takes place weekly, while recycling and green organics collections are every second week.
Kerbside recycling is provided across the municipality on the same day as the domestic garbage collection, however garbage is collected weekly and recycling is collected fortnightly.
Green waste is the material we all generate in our kitchens, around our gardens and is comprised of such items as vegetable scraps, lawn clippings, small woody prunings and weeds.
