Golfers can enjoy some of Australia's best and most challenging provincial courses with facilities second to none.
The historical museums located throughout Greater Shepparton provide an insight into the varied background of the region. The Tatura Irrigation and Wartime Camps Museum offers a fascinating insight into the prisoner of war camps, and their internees, that were located in the area during World War II. Contact the Greater Shepparton Visitor Information Centre for opening hours of the historical museums.
Greater Shepparton is home to SPC Ardmona KidsTown, one of the largest outdoor playgrounds in Australia.
The Goulburn River Pedestrian Bridge links the popular Victoria Park Lake precinct, featuring the Aquamoves complex and S-CAPE skate park, with SPC Ardmona KidsTown via the Yahna Gurtji pathway network.

Aquamoves
Aquamoves is Greater Shepparton's premier recreational centre, located centrally in Shepparton near the Lake Victoria Caravan Park and All Abilities Playground.
The indoor pool facilities provide hours of fun with the Rapid River, Water Slide and Tarzan Swing. Other features include a leisure pool, 25 metre pool, hydrotherapy pool and spas and sauna. The centre also boasts an outdoor 50 metre pool.
A spacious gym and cardio room and over 60 group fitness classes each week offer a great exercise experience.
Aquamoves is open from 6.00am to 9.00pm Monday to Thursday, 6.00am to 8.00pm on Friday and 8.30am to 5.00pm on weekends. During the summer months the pools are open until 7.00pm on weekends.

Bangerang Cultural Centre
The Bangerang Cultural Centre, the first of its kind in Australia, aims to preserve and display local Aboriginal artefacts. Visitors will see the unique collection of Koorie art and artefacts explaining the wide and rich culture of the local people.
Open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm. Admission is free. Tour groups are welcome by appointment.

Giggle Kids
Featuring a large configuration of indoor tubes and tunnels as well as a balls room, slide and secure toddler's playgroun. There are couches available as well as several tables and a cafe with drinks and snacks. We also have fantastic themed party rooms available for children's birthday parties. Birthday party bookings are essential.
Opening hours are 10.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Saturday, and Sunday 12noon till 4.00pm.
Cost: 1-2 years $5.50, 3-4 years $6.50, and 5 years and over $7.50. Groups of five children or more, five entries for $25, regardless of age.

Riverside Gardens
Riverside Gardens - Mini Golf
Set on over 2 hectares of gardens, picnic lawns and a large man made lake our Mini Golf course is far from mini. It's a game for all ages. Bring a picnic lunch or light refreshments are available from the Nursery.
Located on the southern outskirts of Shepparton at Emerald Bank Leisureland , our Mini Golf course is open 7 days a week. The course can be accessed from the Nursery which is right next door to the Dutch Windmill. Group bookings and children's parties welcome.

Riverside Gardens Garden Centre
The ‘barn style' shed right next door to the Dutch Windmill is home to Riverside Gardens, winner of the 2008 Best Medium Garden Centre of Victoria. Catering for all the home gardener's needs it is also an oasis for the weary traveler who are able to relax in the tranquil surroundings. Holiday makers will enjoy the gift wares on offer, play a round of mini golf or just enjoy the gardens. Resident cockatoo ‘Charlie' and ‘Banksia' the cat are regular attractions. Our friendly qualified staff will be able to answer your questions about all things gardening in the Goulburn Valley.

S-CAPE Skate Park
S-CAPE skate park has become one of the most popular and well-used facilities for youth in the region.
Since its opening just prior to Christmas in 2001, many hundreds of young people have flocked to try out the challenging and exciting skate park, located on the banks of Victoria Park Lake.
The skate park is adjacent to the John Pick Playground and large areas of open space where families can relax and enjoy the surroundings, while watching the skaters and bikers in action.

Shepparton Art Gallery
Collecting ceramics since the 1970s, Shepparton is the only place to view the development of Australian ceramics from the early convict period through to the present. There is also a dynamic program of changing exhibitions and an outstanding collection of Australian paintings including examples by Boyd, McCubbin and Streeton. The Gallery Shop and Eastbank Cafe are open the same hours as the gallery.
