WorkSafe AFL Victoria V/Line Cup 2019

WorkSafe AFL Victoria Country’s premier junior regional championships, the V/Line Cup, is set to be bigger and better this year

Now in its sixteenth year as the official naming rights partner of the carnival, V/Line has contributed extensively in providing the opportunity for young players to challenge themselves against the best in their age group across regional Victoria.

In 2019, the V/Line Cup has grown to include 14 Under 15 Boys and 8 Under 15 Girls teams, with more than 550 participants expected to flock the Greater Shepparton for the four-day carnival.

For many competing at these championships, the V/Line Cup will be a stepping stone to AFL Victoria’s mainstream talent pathway, the NAB League and NAB League Girls competitions.

In addition, the V/Line Cup also provides an important development pathway for young umpires, with all field umpires at the Championships members of V/Line Umpire Academy.
