Technology is an everyday part of our community, while it creates great opportunities for education and connection, it also has the potential to negatively impact youth.

Children are exposed to online content in their preschool years, behaviours like cyberbullying begin at primary school and Peer pressure can cause poor online decisions for many teenagers.

Commit to your child’s online safety by attending this presentation and become aware of how to:

  • Reduce accidental exposure to inappropriate content
  • Initiate conversations about online stranger danger and cyberbullying
  • Support your child using online safety resources
  • How to report serious cyberbullying and image based abuse

For more information regarding this session contact Greater Shepparton City Council's Community Safety Officer on (03) 5832 9792 or  alternatively joel.board@shepparton.vic.gov.au or click here to register for the presentation.
