Maude Street Mall Design Options Information Session 1

Council wants your feedback on the four design options for the Maude Street Mall. If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback regarding the designs, we'll be holding this information session.

At the May Ordinary Council Meeting held last night, Council adopted four completed conceptual designs for a redevelopment of the Maude Street Mall area and resolved to release the designs to the community for feedback via a public consultation.

The designs have been completed by Spiire and provide four options for a redeveloped Mall including leaving the mall closed, opening it to two way traffic and two options for one way traffic. In all options the Mall would be significantly upgraded and improved.

The consultation opens on Wednesday 16 May and consists of an online survey where participants are asked to describe what they like or dislike about each of the designs. The feedback will be collated and presented to Councillors to assist them in determining the next steps for the Maude Street Mall.
