Council seeks cooperation when parking at Sports City

Greater Shepparton City Council has been asked to remind users of Sports City to park appropriately and in approved parking areas only to ensure traffic flow is efficient and to maintain the safety of others using the facility.

Parking illegally in roundabouts, emergency vehicle parking spaces, disabled car spaces and in no standing areas is risking the safety of others and impacting on efficient traffic flow.

Greater Shepparton City Council’s Director Infrastructure Phil Hoare said he “encourages facility users to adhere to signage and use the designated spaces available at the precinct so as to ensure all users can enjoy the facility and Council can avoid issuing infringement notices”.
