HAVE YOUR SAY on Seasonal Pools Strategy

Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking feedback on its Draft Seasonal Pools Review and Strategy, following its release for community consultation at the April Council Meeting.

The purpose of the ‘Seasonal Pools Review and Strategy’ is to assess the current status and performance of Council’s three seasonal pools in Mooroopna, Tatura and Merrigum, and to provide guidance to Council in relation to the delivery of services and the development of aquatic facilities in Greater Shepparton.

Greater Shepparton Mayor Dinny Adem encouraged people to take a look at the draft strategy and provide feedback.

“Community swimming pools are such a focal point for small towns. It is important we have a plan in place to properly manage these important facilities,” Cr Adem said.

“I would like to thank everyone who had their say in order to help develop this strategy and this is now the opportunity to provide your thoughts on the outcomes.”
