New Toilets now completed

Greater Shepparton City Council is pleased to announce that the construction of the new accessible toilet building next to the Shepparton Senior Citizens is now ready for use. The new toilets, along with refurbishment of the rose arbour and associated landscaping works are now complete.

The new building contains two independently accessible toilet compartments providing, a unisex wheelchair accessible toilet facility and an ambulant toilet facility.  New pathways will provide easy access to the new building from both Welsford Street and Monash Park.

Acting Director Community Amanda Tingay said the project vision to provide a high quality modern and comfortable facility, that meets the needs of various user groups, has been achieved.   The works have been completed on time and on budget.   

“The Building was designed by James Seymour Architecture, construction works were undertaken by Moretto Building and horticultural works by Councils Parks, Sports and Recreation team.”  

“I would like to thank everyone for their patience during the works, I am sure the community and tourists will benefit greatly from these new facilities.”
