Railway station and bus shelter works to begin

VicTrack are delivering a state-wide upgrade of regional stations, bus stops and bus interchanges, which will provide improved facilities for public transport users.

The Road and Rail Minor Works Program will deliver additional commuter car park spaces, new bus shelters, improved station amenities and bus interchanges, new passenger information displays, and new bike parking facilities across Victoria.

Under this program, Shepparton Station is set for a much needed make over, with a new and modernised customer service and waiting area.

VicTrack are building 11 new bus shelters across Shepparton and Mooroopna with works due to commence on the shelters from 23 July until September.

If you use the bus shelters listed below they will be temporarily relocated so works can be undertaken. Some temporary footpath closure will be in place with clearly signed pedestrian and traffic management in place. Access will be maintained at all times.

The bus shelters are in the following locations in Shepparton:

  • 11 Kittles Rd
  • 101 Maude St
  • Waranga Dr at Dartmouth Ct
  • Longstaff St at Roberts St
  • Friesian Cres at Merino Dr
  • Channel Rd at Da Vinci Dr
  • Hicken Cres at Fahey St

And the following locations in Mooroopna:

  • Daisy St at Albert St
  • Anderson St at MacIsaac Rd
  • Carr Crescent at Echuca Rd
  • McKean St at Agnew St

Details on the works can be found on VicTrack's website.
