WORKS ADVICE: Erosion works on Kialla Lake next week

Greater Shepparton City Council would like to advise residents of the Kialla Lake area that in the coming weeks further works will be done to repair erosion issues around the Lake’s edge.

During this time earthmoving equipment will be traversing the surrounding footpaths moving and installing rock beaching. There may be some temporary path closures and loose material on the paths.

The beaching works are necessary to prevent further erosion and to reclaim the washed away areas of the Lake. Works are being carried out during the day so please take care if you are using the area.

Your patience during this period is appreciated, as the continued improvement works will benefit all lake users and the health of the lake in the long term.

If you have any questions please contact Greater Shepparton City Council on (03) 5832 9700.
