Emergency food supply packages for those mandated to self-isolate
If you are in urgent need and don't have a support network who can help you, call the Victorian Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398 and select option four (4). If you need to speak to someone in another language, press zero (0) when connected.
The operating hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday, and 9:00am to 6:00pm Saturday and Sunday (excluding Victorian Public Holidays).
People can also call on behalf of someone they know who is quarantining or isolating and in urgent need of food supplies.
Each emergency food relief package is designed to provide basic food essentials and personal care items for a family of four for two weeks. Relief packages are free.

My elderly parents, friend or neighbour is not wanting to leave their home, would they be eligible to receive meals-on-wheels?
Meals on Wheels is still available to assist the elderly and those with disabilities living independently. During the COVID-19 emergency Meals on Wheels is now providing more meals to eligible Greater Shepparton residents.

How do I apply for Priority Home Delivery Services for NDIS participants?
The NDIA has worked with supermarket retailers to make sure NDIS participants wanting support to grocery shop have priority access to home delivery services. This means, as an NDIS participant you can purchase grocery items online to be delivered to your home.
The NDIA will send all participants a unique home delivery access code by SMS or email.
To access priority home delivery services:
- Complete your shopping online for home delivery with participating supermarket retailers.
- When prompted enter your unique priority home delivery code.
- Submit your order.

I don’t want to leave my home. Can groceries be delivered?
Customers who can’t shop in-store can have groceries delivered to their home. If you’ve never shopped online with Coles before, they have created a step-by-step guide and video to make it as easy as possible.
Online orders is opened to all customers and click and collect is an option for those who can leave their home, or have a friend or family member pick up their order.
You can pick up online orders for yourself or on behalf of someone you care for at Community Pick up locations at designated stores. Or you can choose from thousands of online delivery windows. (Deliver y windows may be limited during peak times.)
For our customers' and our team members' ongoing safety, Pick up and Delivery orders are now contactless and will be in reusable bags placed at your doorstep, or at the drive thru or service desk in store.
Fairley’s Supa IGA Shepparton
To help those who can’t get to our store due to the current coronavirus COVID-19 crisis, Fairley’s Supa IGA have introduced an online order form and home delivery service. Please note this is not a complete online shopping system, however it will enable you to order goods. They will endeavour to supply all the products you have ordered, however some products may not be available due to supply issues.

A public Facebook group has been established to 'Support businesses in the GV through the Corona Crisis', on this page you will find a range of local businesses including cafes, bakeries, local food producers, restaurants offering takeaway and home delivery.

Mooroopna Life Op Shops team of caring people are able to provide contacts with specialist welfare groups in the area and have a network in place to assist people in most areas of need, including assistance with emergency food relief.

All relief requests including food supplies and telephone outreach are being managed by a special Combined Agency Operations Group within the State Control Centre. All enquiries and requests for emergency food relief packages, including at the local level, should be directed to the Victorian Government COVID-19 hotline: 1800 675 398.
- Victorians self-isolating due to COVID-19 with no access to food and essential supplies are receiving emergency relief packages.
- Eligible households will receive a two-week supply of essential goods including food, personal care, and other essential items as required.
- The packages are being supplied by Foodbank, Select’d, The Salvation Army and other organisations and are being delivered to the door by Australia Post, Red Cross and our regional partners.
- The packages are for those in mandatory self-isolation, who have little or no food, and no network of family and friends to support them.
- Red Cross is supporting the Victorian Government by advocating to ensure food reaches those most in need.
