Murchison Community Care administers and supports Murchison Neighbourhood House and DP Jones Aged Care. Both these agencies have volunteering opportunities. 

Murchison Neighbourhood House Volunteer Purpose: Volunteers play a crucial role in delivering management, services and activities provided by Murchison Neighbourhood House. We are committed to supporting, educating and connecting our community through our activities and daily operations. 

Volunteer Opportunities

Murchison Neighbourhood House:

  • Office administration and reception
  • Pre-loved shop – sales, sorting of goods and displays
  • Community Meals – food preparation, serving and cleaning up
  • General maintenance and cleaning

DP Jones Aged Care:

  • Support in resident recreation programs – BINGO, Outings and planned activities
  • Community Bus Driver (current car licence required) for outings and appointments
