The closing date for this consultation has been extended to 5pm on Friday 5 June May 2020.
The Congupna Recreation Reserve plays a vital role in the provision of open space, sport, recreation, community and event opportunities for Greater Shepparton. As a home to a primary school, a football and cricket oval and tennis and netball courts, the Recreation Reserve is a huge part of Congupna’s identity.
Council identified the need to develop a Mater Plan to provide a strategic framework for the future planning and development of the reserve.
The Draft Master Plan outlines six key priorities for the Recreation Reserve which are:
- Heating and cooling in the Community Hall
- Toilet upgrades and compliance in the Community Hall
- Minor upgrades and repairs to the football change rooms
- An electronic scoreboard
- New community change room clubroom facility
- Football oval and netball court lighting
