2017 VFBV Urban Junior State Championships

The Volunteer Fire Brigades Victoria championships is an event rich in history and attracts around 70 junior teams from across the state, including a visiting aeams from Western Australia.

Teams compete in a number of different events over the two days, cumlating points towards an overall aggreate. The competitors are junior (11 to 16 years old) CFA volunteers and 18 events conducted over two days involve fitness, skill and speed with hoses and equipment, most putting water onto a target in the quickest time. The events are aimed at developing leadership and pratical skills of the juniors in readiness for later CFA service.

There will be equipment displays and information from CFA, SES, Army Cadets, etc..
