Council Meeting - 25 August 2026

A Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 25 August 2026 at 3:00pmThe meeting will be held in the Council Boardroom, 90 Welsford Street, Shepparton.

The meeting will be open to members of the public to attend. A live stream of the meetings will also be made available, and can be accessed via Facebook and YouTube.

All care is taken to maintain your privacy; however, as a visitor in the public gallery, it is assumed that your consent is given in the event that your image is broadcast to the public. It is also assumed that your consent is given to the use and disclosure of any information that you share at the meeting (including personal or sensitive information) to any person who access those recordings or Minutes.

The agenda, minutes and recording of the meeting will be uploaded to Councils website.

ROAD CLOSURE – WINTER CITY MARKET

Greater Shepparton City Council would like to advise of the following traffic changes for the Winter City Market event on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August.

Maude Street will be closed between Fryers and High Street, and half of Fraser Street from 6:00am on Friday 28 August and re-open at 4:30pm, Saturday 29 August.

These changes are to ensure safety of all persons attending the Winter City Market.

NOTICE OF MEETING - DEVELOPMENT HEARING PANEL

Notice is given of a meeting of the Development Hearing Panel to be held on Friday 28 August 2026 commencing at 10.00am.

Applicants and objectors will be contacted directly.

NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMIT

The land affected by the application is located at 61 Graham Street SHEPPARTON VIC 3630.

The proposal is for the Amendment of restrictive covenant.

The application reference number is: 2026-227.

The application and any supporting documents can be viewed on the Greater Shepparton City Council’s website. 

Any person who may be affected by the granting of the permit may object or make other submissions to Greater Shepparton City Council via Council’s website.  Objections must be in writing via Council’s website and must state the reasons for the objection and how you would be affected by the granting of a permit for the application.

Greater Shepparton City Council will not decide on the application before 18 August 2026.

If you object, the Responsible Authority will notify you of its decision.

Please be aware that in accordance with Part 4, Section 57(5) of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 the Responsible Authority must make a copy of every objection (including personal information of the objector) available for public inspection at its office during office hours free of charge until the end of the period for which an application may be made for review of a decision on the application.
