Culture Corner to feature Greater Shepparton's Syrian community

Greater Shepparton City Council’s popular multicultural initiative, Culture Corner, will light up the Maude Street Mall again this Saturday, 6 July.

Greater Shepparton’s Syrian community will take over the Mall from 10am-2pm, showcasing some of their traditional clothing, music, food and drinks including some of their much-loved tasty Keba and falafel wraps.

The new initiative has made a successful start in 2019, with the region’s Malaysian, Iraqi and Filipino communities taking the opportunity to showcase their culture.

Nedal Kebabs will be representing the Syrian community, so of course there will be food and drink will be available for purchase. The community encourages locals to come and engage with their culture.
