First quarter satisfaction survey commences today

Residents of Greater Shepparton are advised that the first quarter Local Government Community Satisfaction Surveys on behalf of Greater Shepparton City Council will be conducted from Monday 24 September to Monday 8 October.

A company called Thinkfield have been engaged to conduct the phone surveys.

Greater Shepparton City Council Director Corporate Services Chris Teitzel says the survey is an important measure for council to understand how well it is meeting community expectations of the services it provides.

“The survey aims to gather impressions on a number of services, facilities and activities the Council provides and the information gathered will be used to provide ongoing improvements,” said Mr Teitzel.

“The survey does provide insight into ways to provide improved or more effective service delivery.”

“Residents who receive a phone call can be assured that this is a legitimate survey conducted on behalf of Greater Shepparton City Council. I would like to encourage residents to have their say on the various topics being presented,” said Mr Teitzel.

The Community Satisfaction Survey is conducted by Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) as a representative random probability survey of residents aged 18+ years in the Greater Shepparton municipality. All responses are confidential and grouped with others.

The first quarter results will be made available to the public after a report is presented to Council at a future council meeting.
