Volunteer Purpose

To assist in carrying out our mission to a broken and hurting community.

Programs

Community Café (Shepparton)

Duties include light cleaning duties, assistance with meal preparation, serving community members.

Emergency Services Team (Shepparton & Mooroopna)

Duties include assisting and serving victims of natural disasters through material aid and food support, and serving emergency personnel during times of natural disasters.

Community Playgroup (0-5 years) (Shepparton)

Duties include assisting in running the program, light cleaning, and some food preparation/handling.

Sally’s Garage Thrift Shop (Shepparton)

Duties include sorting donations, serving customers and set up / pack down of shop.

Fundraising (Shepparton & Mooroopna)

Including the Red Shield Appeal, Christmas Appeal, Food Drives, Blanket Drives, and BBQ Fundraisers.

Christmas Toy Distribution Centre (December)

Duties include sorting donations, picking up donations, and light cleaning duties.


Other volunteering opportunities available: Community Services, Salvos Stores, and Grounds & Maintenance.
