Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Master of System Management and Productivity

Aidin brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across infrastructure, water, transport, asset management and operations, spanning government, utility and contractor environments. His career covers the full infrastructure lifecycle – from strategic planning and design through to major capital delivery, asset management and day‑to‑day operations of multi‑billion‑dollar asset portfolios. He has led large multidisciplinary teams across metropolitan and regional Victoria, delivering complex programs of work where community impact, safety and public accountability guide every decision.

Most recently, Aidin held senior leadership roles with the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning, and previously led infrastructure and operations for a regional water corporation serving communities across northern Victoria. Having lived in Shepparton for five years, he has a strong personal connection to the region and a clear understanding of what quality infrastructure means for regional communities.

Aidin is passionate about infrastructure that genuinely improves everyday life – safe roads, well‑maintained parks and community facilities that people are proud to use. He brings deep expertise in capital program delivery and infrastructure asset management, with a strong focus on planning and maintaining assets over their whole life rather than simply building new ones.
