ANZAC Day Services - Shepparton & Mooroopna

ANZAC Day is one of Australia's most important national commemorative occasions. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.

5.45am Assemble at the Victoria Hotel, Cnr. Wyndham & Fryers Streets

5.50am Form Up and March Departs

6.00am Dawn Service at Memorial Park - Welsford Street

6.30am Conclusion of Service

A private breakfast will take place at the Shepparton RSL Sub-Branch for all Service members & their families. Proof of eligibility may be requested. The club will be open to the public from 9am.


8.30am Congregate in front of Water Tower

8.45am March to Memorial Park

9.00am Service Commences

9.30am Conclusion of Service


10.20am Congregate in Car Park at Shepparton RSL

10.20am Coach for those unable to march departs RSL (assemble at Wyndham St entrance)

10.40am Parade departs RSL for Memorial Park via Knight - Wyndham - Fryers & Welsford Streets 11.00am Service commences

11.45am Conclusion of Service

IMPORTANT INFORMATION Although seating will be provided for Veterans, we ask you to please bring your own chairs if you would like to be seated throughout either service.
The club will be open from 9am. A light lunch will be available in the Lone Pine Function Room at a cost of $5 per person. All proceeds to support Goulburn Valley Veteran Services.
Digger’s Bistro will be open for lunch and dinner and TWO UP organised for between 1.30 & 5pm at the rear of the RSL. We will also be serving hotdogs and there will be bar facilities outside.
