Looking for a furry companion who's as playful as she is adorable? Meet Sumo! This charming young girl is on a quest to find her forever home, and she's hoping it could be with you.
Sumo is a cheeky and energetic pup who's always up for a game of fetch or a romp around the yard with her favorite squeaky toy. While she's full of fun and excitement, she could use a little refresher in basic obedience training to help her become the best companion possible.
Despite her mischievous nature, Sumo has a heart of gold and a love for life that's infectious. Sumo is however is not suitable for a home with cats or children.
Sumo is okay with other dogs however due to lack of socialization she will require someone to help provide her with supervised dog on dog interactions to ensure her comfort and safety. Sumo will need consistent training as she can be nippy, when wanting attention. She will need training with positive reinforcement and a home with no children.

Adoption Commitment
The Shepparton Animal Shelter encourages new owners of adopted animals to consider their lifestyle and commitment carefully before adoption. We wish to see all adopted animals find their forever homes. However we understand that sometimes, an adoption does not work out. If you are no longer able to care for your adopted animal, for any reason, please contact the Shepparton Animal Shelter.
Adoption Guarantee
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is not acceptable to a purchaser because of health, physical or other reasons (excluding accidents), which is supported by a statement from a Veterinary practitioner, within seven days of purchase, the Animal Shelter will accept the animal back and refund the purchase price of the animal.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is returned within three days for any other reason, the Animal Shelter will refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten dies or is euthanased as a result of a disease that is traceable to the point of sale, the Animal Shelter will refund the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
