Rufus is a delightful Koolie mix looking for his forever home. With a unique blend of energy and affection, he promises to be a wonderful addition to any family. Rufus was born here with us at the shelter, and is now 8 weeks old. Rufus has had all his veterinary work done including desexing and is ready to join his furever home.
Rufus is known for his playful spirit and outgoing nature. After a day of fun, he enjoys nothing more than snuggling up with his favorite humans.
Rufus would thrive in a home where he can enjoy outdoor activities and have a secure area to explore. He gets along well with children and other dogs, making him a versatile companion for families looking to add a furry friend to their household.
Rufus is in excellent health and has been well-cared for at the shelter. He is up to date on all vaccinations and is ready to start the next chapter of his life with you.

Adoption Commitment
The Shepparton Animal Shelter encourages new owners of adopted animals to consider their lifestyle and commitment carefully before adoption. We wish to see all adopted animals find their forever homes. However we understand that sometimes, an adoption does not work out. If you are no longer able to care for your adopted animal, for any reason, please contact the Shepparton Animal Shelter.
Adoption Guarantee
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is not acceptable to a purchaser because of health, physical or other reasons (excluding accidents), which is supported by a statement from a Veterinary practitioner, within seven days of purchase, the Animal Shelter will accept the animal back and refund the purchase price of the animal.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is returned within three days for any other reason, the Animal Shelter will refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten dies or is euthanased as a result of a disease that is traceable to the point of sale, the Animal Shelter will refund the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
