Mission

Riding for the Disabled Shepparton is a voluntary, non-profit organisation providing opportunities for people with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy, therapeutic horse related activities.

Shepparton RDA had been operating for 47 years.

Purpose

RDA provides sporting and recreational activities for riders with a disability, it offers opportunities to improve balance, core strength, posture and coordination to extend their abilities.

People with a wide range of disabilities are accepted into RDA programs.

Volunteer Opportunities

RDA Shepparton is always in need of volunteers. No previous horse experience is necessary, we can train you, anyone can make a difference.

We have a range of roles:

• you can work with riders and horses
• you can be a side walker
• leadership roles
• horse training and care
• coaching opportunities
• fundraising and office support
