Community Accessability

Community Accessability are looking for volunteer drivers to join our team to provide friendly and safe transport to our local elderly people. We provide the vehicles and fuel, you offer your time – together we can make a real positive difference in the lives of others.
About the Role
As a volunteer driver, you will assist by picking up elderly clients from their front door and transporting them to medical appointments, supermarkets, social outings and other destinations.
There is no requirement for lifting or personal care assistance – just a friendly disposition and a willingness to connect.

Community Accessability is a not-for-profit, charitable organisation that promotes social well-being for individuals who would otherwise struggle to maintain independence due to ageing, disability, or financial hardship. We’re committed to helping members of the community stay connected to essential services, family and friends by providing friendly and flexible transport solutions!
Community Accessability works in partnership with local governments, social services and other not-for –profit providers to assist residents in Victoria and Southern New South Wales. We currently have offices in Wodonga, Shepparton, Wangaratta, Yarrawonga, Ballarat, Bendigo and Thomastown.

About You
- Hold a valid national drivers licence
- Are willing to donate some of your time to enrich the lives of others
- Want to be part of a team of like-minded and caring individuals
- Have a passion for helping the elderly members of our communities maintain their choice and independence
