South Shepparton Community Centre
South Shepparton Community Centre Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation governed by a volunteer Committee of Management and staffed by 2-3 permanent part-time staff as well as casually employed tutors, program leaders and volunteers. The Centre is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services, Greater Shepparton City Council and Adult Community and Further Education. The Centre is open Monday to Friday 9am-3pm during school terms, except public holidays.

To offer all, including lonely and disadvantaged people, an environment in which to further develop life and career skills in a safe, inclusive, warm and friendly place.
Volunteer Opportunities
At our Centre, we value Volunteers and Members as they are a vital part of achieving our goals and play a key role in several activities, assisting in:
- Office administration and reception
- Community lunches, food preparing, serving and cleaning up
- Gardening
- General maintenance and cleaning
- Setting up class rooms
- Program support – Link to Us, Art & Craft, English as second language
