Teen Art Program: Masterclass sketchbook designing and binding

Learn to DIY your own sketchbook from start to finish with this artist-led workshop designed for teens 13-17 years. Guided by artist Kat Parker, participants will craft everything from the cover design of their sketchbook to the binding, and will walk away with their own handmade journal.

This afternoon masterclass will cover:

Introduction to bookbinding
Designing and creating custom book covers
Folding and preparing pages
Piercing and stitching pages using Coptic binding
Finishing your sketchbook with professional techniques

No prior experience is needed – this workshop gives you step-by-step guidance and support to learn and develop your own craft and build your creative skills.
