Council is reminding residents that consultation for the review of its Asset Plan will close at midnight this Friday 21 March 2025.
In Summary
Council is encouraging the community to provide input on how its almost $2 billion worth of assets should be managed into the future. The Asset Plan guides the service levels for essential infrastructure such as roads, playgrounds, community buildings, drainage, and open spaces, ensuring they meet the needs of our growing population.
Council’s Director Infrastructure, Gary Randhawa, urged the community to take this final opportunity to contribute.
“This is your chance to have a say on how Council manages assets that impact your daily life. We want to hear what is important to you and what you think should be prioritised,” Mr Randhawa said.
“Our community relies on these assets every day, whether it is the roads we drive on, the parks we enjoy, or the facilities we use. This is an important opportunity to influence how Council plans for the future.”

Feedback can be submitted online at shepp.city/assetplan until midnight on Friday 21 March 2025. Hard copy surveys are also available at Council’s Customer Service Counter at 90 Welsford Street, Shepparton.
