Riverlinks in partnership with the Not for Profit company Jumpleads is inviting creatives in the region to participate in a series of free professional development workshops.
Jumpleads is offering ArtsACTION, a free upskilling and professional development program for creatives. The program supports artists to get into action, work collaboratively and refine innovative methods for success. It will assist within activating career pathways, broadening networks and building market reach.
Manager Riverlinks Venues Ken Cameron says the program is a great way for creatives in the region to enhance their business and refine their skills.
“The ArtsACTION program will be delivered entirely online this time round. The program is made up of a 6 part email resource pack, zoom workshops and access to a growing network of likeminded people.”
The workshop topics include:
Being Market Ready: preparing credentials, improving portfolios, devising messaging, creating clear action plans, becoming market ready and better equipped for new opportunities.
Working Together Effectively: exploring methods/practices for working in teams, effective collaboration, supporting operation of management groups and teams, development of current/future opportunities.
Digital Communities: identifying appropriate online platforms for effective navigation in building digital communities, set up of e-commerce tools, brand building engagement methods, refining strategies for building reach and growing success.
“If you’re an emerging or professional artist, an arts worker, involved in community arts or work in any creative industry field, ArtsACTION is for you. The program will assist in growing your career, building business, setting up your organisation and connecting with other creatives across Victoria.”
“We are very excited to be part of ArtsACTION this time round. The possibilities for creatives are limitless. We encourage all creatives in the region to take a look at the ArtsACTION program and participate,” says Mr Cameron.
The online program runs till end of June 2021 and registrations open on 1 December 2020.
For more information on the program, or to register your interest, visit the ArtsACTION website.
