Developed internally by Council’s Digital Media team, the Greater Shepp app is available for free download and offers a wide range of features designed to make local information and services more accessible, including:
- Community updates – Stay informed with the latest news, consultations and Council initiatives.
- Bin collection – Never miss a bin day with the handy calendar feature and learn about proper waste disposal.
- Events and activities – Discover a wide variety of events and entertainment across the region.
- Service requests – Report issues and share feedback directly with Council.
- Visitor information – Find the best places to dine, shop and explore.
- Parking and public transport – Access up-to-date information on parking and transport options.
- New – Activities in the Park – Explore the newly added “Activities in the Park” program in the app’s ‘What’s On’ section, offering free, fun and inclusive activities for all ages to enjoy in local parks and open spaces.
The standalone Activities in the Park app (formerly known as the Get Mooving app) is no longer in use as of 31 May 2025.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, expressed his enthusiasm for the app’s ongoing impact and the addition of the new feature.
“The Greater Shepp app continues to be a valuable tool for enhancing community engagement and communication. With the new ‘Activities in the Park’ feature, we are making it even easier for people to get involved, stay active and enjoy our beautiful outdoor spaces,” he said.
“I encourage everyone to download the app and take advantage of all it has to offer.”
