Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise of changing traffic conditions as works continue in the intersection of Andrew Fairley Avenue / Lockwood Road / Old Dookie Road and the SPC entrance in Shepparton.
The works include upgrading the current roundabout to a full signalised intersection that allows full truck turning movements in each direction and increases safety for all users, in particular regular pedestrian traffic.
Details of the changing traffic conditions are included below:
As the works encroach on other areas of the intersection, traffic control will be utilised to maintain the flow of traffic.
Access into SPC and the adjacent homes and businesses will be maintained for the duration of works, however motorists are advised to expect delays and detours will be in place.
To ensure the safety of all working and travelling near the site, the intersection will be under strict traffic management throughout the duration of works and Council reminds residents to obey all traffic management direction and signage.
