Balaclava Road works are due to commence on Monday 13 February 2023, with completion expected by Saturday 18 February 2023 (weather permitting). The works area will be under traffic control and partial road closure daily between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
During construction, temporary road closures will be in place for King Street, Fahey Street, Gowrie Street and Newton Street. Local residents living in the area will have access to their properties, with some delays expected during construction.
Gilchrist Street (between Watson Street and Callister Street) works are due to commence on Saturday 18 February 2023, with completion expected by Sunday 19 February 2023 (weather permitting). The works area will be under traffic control and partial road closure daily between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Local residents living in the area will have access to their properties, with some delays expected during construction.
Residents and visitors are reminded to obey all road work and advisory signage, including any worker's direction, for their safety and the safety of others. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible.
