Careers help for young people

The workshop will include

hands-on assistance developing your resume and cover letter
how to turn your everyday life skills into work relatable skills
tips on how to prepare for a job interview, common interview questions, what to wear, what to say and do, and how to follow up your interview
work experience opportunities with Greater Shepparton City Council to build your work skills and boost your resume

Participants can learn how to make a great first impression with employers and how to make their cover letter and resume stand out from the crowd. They will be able to discover job skills they never knew they had and learn the tips needed to blitz interviews and emerge the successful applicant.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday 17 March 2015 from 11am – 3pm at the Youth Club Hall, Vaughan Street, Shepparton, behind the Safeway Plaza.

Lunch will be provided and transport to and from the workshop can be arranged. Please let us know at the time of booking whether you require transport.
