Celebrate Children's Week

An event to celebrate Children’s Week will be held at the All Abilities Playground on Monday 21 October between 10am and 12noon.

Activities including face painting, treasure hunts, apple slinkies, storytelling and Maternal Child and Health mini checks will be happening through the morning.

Greater Shepparton City Council's Manager Children and Youth Services Sally Rose encouraged people to come along and enjoy free activities.

"Bring your rug, snacks, hat and sunscreen and help us celebrate Children's Week," Ms Rose said.

Free buses will run to the All Abilities Playground and return at the end of the event:

  • North Shepp - leaving at 9.30am from Patricia Smith Children's Centre & 9.45am from Bourchier St Primary School bus stop.
  • South Shepp - leaving at 9.30am from Leslie Gribble Children's Centre & 9.45am from St Georges Rd Primary School bus stop.
  • Mooroopna - leaving at 9.30am from McIsaac Rd bus stop, (near high school) & 9.45am from St Mary's Primary School bus stop.
