The region will once again come together to celebrate the festival season with a magical evening at Carols by Candlelight.
Returning to the Queens Gardens on Sunday 18 December, Carols by Candlelight promises to be an evening of amazing musical talent and Christmas spirit.
Now in its 48th year, the annual event is expected to attract hundreds of families at the free community event.
This year Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Shane Sali welcomes everyone to join us in person as we bring you this family-friendly celebration.
“Christmas is a time for people to come together, and Council is proud to continue to support this wonderful tradition of Carols by Candlelight,” Cr Sali said.
“The spirit of the event has always been about bringing the community together and supporting one another, let’s continue to celebrate everyone’s hard work and achievements and wishes for a happy and prosperous new year.”
The Carols by Candlelight program runs from 6.30pm to 9.00pm with a spectacular show of talented local performers and a special visit from Santa Claus.
A live stream of the event will be available on Council’s website.
This is a free community event, with food and drinks available for purchase supporting local community groups and businesses. Please remember to bring a low chair, rug, cushion or blanket to make for a comfortable evening at the Queens Gardens.
