In Summary
The Shepparton Australia Day event, to be held between 24 – 29 January, aims to celebrate the achievements of our community, and provide a free entry, inclusive, family friendly event that celebrates our region and the diversity of our community.
The successful group will have access to the Shepparton Community Celebration Grants Program with funding of up to $5,000 available to support the Shepparton event in 2025.
Council’s Director Sustainable Development, Geraldine Christou, said the local community are integral to the success of community celebrations in Greater Shepparton and this event is no different.
“The successful group will also receive support from Council staff in the establishment and planning of the 2025 event. We are looking forward to working with them to deliver a great event for the community,” she said.
Stage 2 of the application process may include a discussion or presentation to Council by shortlisted groups to finalise the expression of interest process.
