A key consultation approach to assist with the development of the inaugural Community Vision and 2021-2025 Council Plan will see the Council team hitting the road to come directly to you to get your ideas.
While there is already the opportunity to have your say via the Shaping Greater Shepp online platform, the consultation Roadshow will be attending key locations across our region to provide the opportunity to have discussions and input into what our region should look like in the next 10 years and the priorities for Council over the next four years.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Councillor Kim O’Keeffe said it was important to capture a range of community feedback to help drive Council’s strategic plan for the next four years.
“As part of the Community Vision and Council Plan process Council will be going out into the community speaking to our residents directly to find out what their plans are for our region,” Cr Kim O’Keeffe said.
“Councillors will also be a part of the Roadshow Team, so we encourage you to make the most of this opportunity to let us know your thoughts and aspirations.”
While the Roadshow kicks off this Friday and Saturday at the Summer City Market at Maude Street Mall, it will also travel to a large number of locations including our regional towns from Friday 26 February to Wednesday 17 March.
For more information regarding Roadshow dates, times and location visit Council’s Facebook and website. You can also sign up to receive Council’s e-newsletter here.
Members of the community have until Wednesday 24 March to submit ideas online via Shaping Greater Shepp
Roadshow 26 February – 7 March, more dates and locations to be announced.
