Greater Shepparton City Council’s May meeting will be held in Mooroopna on Tuesday 19 May.
The meeting will be held at the Mooroopna Hub, 23 Alexandra Street, Mooroopna from 5.30pm and all members of the public are welcome to attend.
Greater Shepparton Mayor Dennis Patterson said this was the first of two council meetings which would be held outside Shepparton this year.
“As part of our community engagement program we will be conducting our second off site meeting in Tatura in October,” Cr Patterson said
“This is the third time a council meeting will be held in Mooroopna and the past two years we have had a great response from Mooroopna residents who wanted to see how council meetings run and how Council decisions are made.
“People will also have the opportunity to enjoy a free bbq provided by the Mooroopna Lions Club and Mooroopna Men’s Shed and chat with Councillors at the end of the meeting.”
The agenda for the meeting will be available on Council’s website from the afternoon of Friday 15 May.
