Greater Shepparton City Council is encouraging local community groups and not-for-profit organisations to apply for their share of funding as part of Council’s Community Grants Program.
In Summary
Applications for the following grants are now open:
Council’s Director Sustainable Development, Geraldine Christou, urged eligible community groups and organisations to apply for one of three available grant categories.
“These grants are specifically designed for our community. Each round of funding is set aside to help local groups host events, run programs, or make purchases that benefit the broader community,” she said.
“I encourage residents to think creatively and consider unique, impactful ways to use this funding for a wide variety of projects.”
Council will be hosting two free information sessions to provide information on eligible community groups and projects, the application process and key dates and grant amounts. There will also be an opportunity to have questions answered. Registrations are not required.
Applications for the three grant programs close on Monday 10 February 2025 at 5.00pm.
For further information please call Council on 5832 9700 or email council@shepparton.vic.gov.au.
