All Greater Shepparton residents who have been in one of the COVID-19 high-risk locations, are a contact of someone who has, or, are displaying COVID-19 symptoms, are encouraged to get tested for COVID-19.
Every test conducted in Greater Shepparton counts towards finding, slowing and eventually removing the virus.
Those displaying symptoms, those who have been to a high-risk location in Shepparton as named by DHHS or those who have been in direct or indirect contact with a positive case, must isolate after being tested until they receive a negative result.
Residents must have entered a high-risk location, be a contact of someone who has or have symptoms to be tested currently in Greater Shepparton.

Door knocking is taking place in the Greater Shepparton area for those who must isolate after being tested under the new rules. Fines are in place for those not following isolation restrictions.
Payments of $450 are available for those who must isolate and miss work due to being tested.
Council reminds residents fitted masks are now compulsory. Bandanas, scarfs or cloths are no longer acceptable. Masks are compulsory every time you leave your home, and fines are in place.
Greater Shepparton currently has three (3) active cases of COVID-19, with 52 cases confirmed in the municipality in total since the beginning of the pandemic.
Council, GV Health and DHHS have partnered to deliver two COVID-19 Mobile Information Units. The units will be situated at different places in Greater Shepparton every day, providing key information to residents. The schedule for the two units can be found on Council’s website. This schedule is being updated every day, so please continue to check it.
