Love Your Local was successful in winning an expression of interest for delivering the Fryers Street Food Festival in 2018. The festival will be held on Saturday 17 November from 5pm-11pm in the heart of our region’s food strip, Fryers Street.
The Fryers Street Food Festival is now in its third year, offering a variety of meals, sweets and treats enabling visitors and locals to enjoy the outdoor dining, produce stalls, bars and live entertainment in Fryers Street.
Greater Shepparton City Council Director Sustainable Development Geraldine Christou said, “We are so pleased to announce that Council will be working with ‘Love Your Local’ again who will manage this great event.”
“Greater Shepparton is known for its food and relaxed lifestyle so I encourage everyone to block out 17 November to enjoy a wonderful afternoon and evening at the Fryers Street Food Festival. This event is one not to be missed for those who love food and entertainment,” said Ms Christou.
Love Your Local organiser Lisa Rees said, “We are thrilled to be hosting this year’s Fryers Street Food Festival. We are excited to build on our successful delivery of this event over the past two years and look forward to bringing Shepparton an amazing festival in November,” said Ms Rees.
“We are seeking vendors including street food, bars, restaurants, wineries and other produce vendors for the day of the event. Please contact Love Your Local if you would like to have a stall at the Fryers Street Food Festival this November,” said Ms Rees.
