Carols by Candlelight will light-up Shepparton’s holiday spirit once again this year, with the traditional event returning to the Queens Gardens on Sunday 17 December 2023.
The event, now in its 49th year, will be an evening of incredible musical talent, singing and celebration, and will see the gardens transformed into a holiday haven with festive decorations, live music, delicious food and more.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Shane Sali, said the annual event was one not to be missed, encouraging community members to join in the family friendly festivity.
“Carols by Candlelight is the perfect opportunity to come together and enjoy a great evening with family and friends. Council is proud to continue to support this wonderful tradition,” Cr Sali said.
“This event is about bringing the community together, having a good time and celebrating everyone’s hard work and achievements ahead of the New Year.”
The Carols by Candlelight program runs from 6.30pm to 9.00pm with an outstanding line-up of talented local performers and special guests Santa Claus and his elves.

Carols by Candlelight is an all-inclusive and accessible free community event, with food and drinks available for purchase to support local community groups and businesses.
Please remember to bring your own chair, rug, cushion or blanket, as well as mosquito spray to make for a comfortable evening at the Queens Gardens. This is an alcohol free event.
