Greater Shepparton City Council is gearing up for the Winter City Market, which will be held on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 August 2024 in the Maude Street and Fraser Street precinct in Shepparton.
In Summary
Community members and visitors are encouraged to save the date and get ready to shop local, with two days of special deals and promotions on offer. The market will run on Friday from 10am to 6pm and on Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
To celebrate the end of winter, Shepparton’s CBD will come to life with music, family entertainment and activities, as well as delicious food from restaurants and cafes located in the CBD.
Council’s Place Manager, Bonnie McIntosh, said working with local vendors to create opportunities for businesses is key for a thriving community and to activate the local economy.
“Seasonal markets are a community favourite and a wonderful way to support local businesses. Visitors and residents can connect with local suppliers while enjoying a day out with the family and friends,” she said.
“Attendees will be able to take advantage of the special offerings across the weekend in the CBD. There will be kid’s activities and entertainment including jumping castle, nature based craft and activities, Activities in the Park with a variety of games, as well as live music, boutique craft stalls, food and more.”
Save the date and get ready for special deals and great promotions across the CBD. Shoppers are encouraged to get out, shop local and enjoy the final days of winter.
