High Street lane closure

Greater Shepparton City Council would like to advise the community of an upcoming lane closure along High Street, Shepparton.

The single lane closure will be in place from Monday 6 June at the intersection of Maude Street and High Street for east bound traffic along High Street (refer to map on page 2).

During this time, pedestrian access at the south end of the mall along High Street will be required to detour at either the:

  • traffic light pedestrian crossings; or,
  • via the walkway access path to be installed within the Maude Street Mall (between Identity and Evan’s Shoes) whilst the area of site adjacent to High Street is under construction.

The traffic management and pedestrian detour are anticipated to be in place until the end of August 2022. For community safety, pedestrians are to refer to detour signage on site and utilise the pedestrian crossings to navigate around the south end of the Maude Street Mall.

Motorists are advised to obey all worksite and advisory signage including traffic controllers in the vicinity.

Council asks for residents and motorists to please take care and be aware of traffic detours.
